Gift Wrapping at T.J. Maxx Highlights
We had a wonderful time together this past Saturday wrapping gifts for shoppers at T.J. Maxx. It was fun to meet so many people in our community and to let them know we care about them.
We handed out invitations our Christmas Service this Sunday. It was especially exciting to talk to one young man who asked, "Aren't you the church that gave away free school supplies before school started this year?" I just smiled and said, "Yeah, that was us and it's good to see you again."
The Lord is opening doors for us to reach out and let our neighborhood know that Clayton Valley Church is a place they can come for help. We love letting folks know that we wrap gifts free of charge because of the gift we have all been given in Jesus: the Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). It is a joy to be a part of the God is doing through our church family.
