As Christians there are many ways we grow. We grow by spending time alone in God’s Word (Psalm 119:105; 1Pet. 2:2). We grow by communing with the Lord in prayer (1Thess. 5:17). We grow by keeping the Lord’s Day with the people of God (Ex. 20:8; Rev. 1:10). Another valuable means God has given us to grow is interacting with other believers, talking about God and the things of God (Prov. 27:17; Heb. 10:24-25).

Here is the question, “Do you want to grow?” For each of us as Christians, growth is not an option. It is expected by our King (John 15:1-5). Take advantage of this opportunity to get more involved in the lives of others in our church family. By joining one of these core seminars, you will have the opportunity to build relationships, talk about the truths you are learning, ask questions and interact with others who are growing with you.

All classes meet each Sunday from 9:00 - 9:15AM together for refreshments in the Fellowship Hall, and then from 9:15 - 10:15AM in their various rooms for discussion, prayer and study.

The Gospel in Life - Location: Fellowship Hall, Teachers: Paul DeLancey, Dave House and Doug Walsh

Our focus together is Acts 2:42, which describes how the Christians of the 1st century were, “…continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” We gather each Sunday morning at 9:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. Join us!

Always-Ready-Graphic-Final

Always Ready - Location: Maranatha Room, Teacher: Arend tenPas

Christians have a sure and glorious hope while living in a hopeless world. This class is designed to confirm that hope in our own minds and hearts, and to equip us to be ALWAYS READY to share that hope with our loved ones, friends, neighbors, and strangers. Peter wrote: "Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you (1Peter 3:15). We look forward to growing together as people of hope and light who shine the light of Jesus in our dark world.

"The Lord Is My Shepherd...." Location: Percolator Room (Ed. Wing), Teacher: Thomas Patterson

The familiar words of comfort and peace from Psalm 23 point to deep spiritual truth about how the Lord-as the good Shepherd-graciously rescues, provides for, protects, guides, and even lovingly disciplines his flock. Join us as we gain additional insight into this treasured Psalm by examining the real-life role of a shepherd as he cares for his sheep, and learn why that relationship is such an apt picture of our relationship to the Lord.
